Welcome to my “unofficial” Relay For Life web site. While the Relay For Life organization provides all participants with an official site, I could not say everything I wanted there due to space limitations so I have expanded to this site. However, I have included links to the official web site in the "About" and "Donate" tabs above and I encourage you to follow them for more general information as well as donating to Relay For Life of Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties 2022.

I want to start by saying thank you to each and every one of you for joining me on this journey. Some of you have just joined me in this fight but many of you have supported me since the beginning, 15 years ago! It has been 15 short years ago when I joined my sister, Susan Inscore, for my first Relay. We walked with her church’s ladies group in Dripping Springs. A few years later, because of scheduling issues, we moved to Relay Sugar Land where I became team captain of a new team Mommas in Pajamas. Fifteen years down the road we are now Relay For Life of Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties and still the Mommas in Pajamas. My journey has brought me from being a member of the team to team captain to Team Captain Lead to Co-lead to Event Lead. The last two years I have pulled back to Team Captain and an active member of the planning committee for our event.  Through all of it you have been with me. This is not a journey that I could have taken without all of you.   I will never be able to thank you enough.

For those of you who are new to Relay For Life it is an official fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. You can read more at RFL’s official site.

Relay For Life of Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties 2022 has changed this year.  This year’s event has been moved from March/April to November.  While we will have our normal Relay with the Survivor/Caregiver laps, lots of fun team laps, the Luminaria Ceremony, music, games and so much more it will be a 4 hour event instead of a 12 hours.  Prior to the event we will be holding a craft show “Crafting For A Cure”.  You can read more about “Crafting For A Cure” by downloading the flyer here.  More information about the Relay For Life of Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties 2022 event is available here.  The Mommas in Pajamas will be at both events selling our pillowcases and partying the day away.

I would be completely remiss if I did not invite you to contribute to Relay For Life of Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties 2022.  On the Donate tab above, you can make donations toward my personal goal as well as the goal set by my team, Mommas in Pajamas.
